USGENMAP: Reading an article quiz

(extracting data for family research)

In researching one of the side branches of my family, I came across this article which contained references to the surname. Since it was not of a branch I was looking for, I forwarded it (the below graphic) to other researchers of the same surname.

The comments and questions I got back relating to it's contents, made me wonder how well other researchers are able to extract information from what they read.
